Our mission
To promote equity, empowerment, and culturally responsive support for BAME families navigating SEND systems.
Nuroflyers CIC was founded by people who have sat in those meetings, chased those letters and been told to wait. We turned that experience into support for others.
To promote equity, empowerment, and culturally responsive support for BAME families navigating SEND systems.
A society where all children with SEND, regardless of background, can access the support they need to thrive.
For too many BAME families, getting the right support for a child with special educational needs means fighting two battles at once: the system itself, and the barriers that make that system harder to reach in the first place. Language gets in the way of understanding your own rights. Cultural stigma keeps families from asking for help until a crisis forces the issue. And too often, children are diagnosed late, or mislabelled altogether, because the professionals around them didn't have the cultural context to see clearly. Nuroflyers CIC exists because families told us they needed something that didn't yet exist: guidance that starts from where they actually are, not from where the system assumes they should be. We're here to close that gap — one family, one EHCP, one conversation at a time.
We start from your family's context, faith and language — never ask you to fit ours.
We work where families already gather, not only from an office.
The people leading this work have navigated SEND for their own children.
Our aim is that you leave able to advocate confidently on your own.
